Celebrating 50 Sales | The Mini Newspaper Program

Today I sold my 50th Mini Newspaper Wedding Program since I started offering them in my Etsy shop last summer.

To celebrate I thought I would do a blog post featuring a few of the recent programs I have created for couples from all over. As you can see each one is as unique as the couple themselves, fitting into various wedding themes and settings.

(*Be sure to click on each paper to view it larger)

Colette & Tom | This UK couple got married on the shores of Loch Goil in Lochgoilhead Scotland. They are avid kayak-ers who love to explore any lake, stream, river or bay they can! They included a fun 'Ask the Experts' section in their paper that featured marriage advice quotes from their friends and family as well as an 'Epithelium (A lyric ode in honor of a bride and bridegroom) for Two Canoeists' written by the mother of the groom.

Jessica & Pierre | This couple got married at 'Olcottage' in Massachusetts on the sea where the bride grew up vacationing each summer. They were able to share these special memories and details about the significance of their wedding location with their guests through their newspaper program and also did a 'food and style' section and were also able to include french and English translations of their ceremony readings for their non-biligual guests to be abel to follow along with what was being read.

Lauren & Mike| This Barrie Ontario couple was having an Alice in Wonderland theme wedding! Their 'Wonderland Times' paper added to their theme by featuring a 'Mad Hatter Tea Room' advertisement, whimsical font, an Alice Through The Looking Glass quote and of course the 'Top Story' sharing the Fairy Tale of how the couple met, got engaged and planned their furture together.

Wesley & Kara| This sunny couple had a destination wedding and got married on 'The Casey Key' in Florida, which is where they got engaged! In their 'Top Story' they shared the details about how they met and the details about the proposal on the very beach they were getting married on. They also added a fun 'Guess that Love Song' section to entertain their guests.
Caroline and Paul | This adventure seeking couple from Nenagh Ireland was having an intimate ceremony and celebration in their backyard. They included a section in their paper in honor of the "Best Man", Noah, the bride's son! They wanted to create a coupon for 'Busters Bootcamp' as the groom (a.k.a Buster) is a personal trainer. They also included a fun 'Death of a Bachelor' section to let all the ladies know the groom was now off the market.

I have recently had a request to create a newspaper program for a sweet 16 birthday party that would feature the birthday girl, her friends, the party's events and menu as well as the sponsors of the event. So this could open up a whole new area for my papers and I even think they would be great for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs as well as anniversary parties and corporate events. So feel free to contact me about these possibilities as well.

Unique Wedding Programs |

If you are looking for a unique wedding program that fits your personality as well as the theme & style of your big day, look no further.

These Mini Newspaper's made by KO TWO Designs allow you to have a program that is not only informative for your guests but also entertains them at the same time.

WHAT IS IN THE PAPER?

The programs include a 'Top Story' all about you as a couple including several photos of you throughout the paper, along with your ceremony's order of events, a list of the bridal party members, and lots of free space for you to come up with fun ads and sections that show off your personality and the theme of your day.

HOW CAN I PERSONALIZE IT?

Choose to do a fun crossword puzzle to test your guest's knowledge of you as a couple or choose to theme the puzzle to enhance the theme of your wedding.

Or create funny ads that are personal to you as a couple - or have an "Ask the Experts Advice Column" featuring advice from the parent's of the bride and groom and bridal party.

Include a special "Thank You" section to thank those who helped make your day happen - Or even come up with a cute section to feature your pet(s).

There is no limit to the creativity you can add to your paper to make it personal and meaningful for your day!

HOW DO I ORDER MY VERY OWN?

My Work In A Bridal Magazine!?!?

Recently I did some design work that will be featured in an upcoming issue of 'Real Weddings Magazine' based our of Vancouver BC!

Jodi from Sweet Beginnings Wedding Consulting & Event Planning along with her team are being featured in the magazine and to show of their creative wedding design concepts they are putting together a vintage style wedding 'table-scape' that will be photographed and featured in a 'Real Weddings' spread in the magazine.

She came across my 'Silhouette Logo Creation' in my ETSY shop and commissioned me to create a custom banner featuring the silhouettes to use in the background of her set up.

Below is an image showing what the 3ft banner will look like - we ended up writing "I DO" behind the silhouettes and incorporated the wedding's colours of charcoal grey and blush pink in the design.

I am looking forward to getting a copy of the magazine when the issue comes out (I will keep you posted) AND I am also looking forward to seeing photos of the banner hanging in the Sweet Beginnings show room afterward!

My other idea was to do a 'step and repeat' type look repeating 'I do' over and over in the
background of the banner:

The Latest Etsy Creation | The Mini Newspaper Program

I just finished designing a custom Mini Newspaper Program for a great bride from Philadelphia PA!

She had great ideas for her mini newspaper that made it truly unique! Her guests are going to love reading through the newspaper finding out information about the couple, how they got engaged, why they chose their wedding location, where they are going on their honeymoon and much more!
The newspaper will be a great compliment to the vintage 'Old Hollywood' theme of their wedding which will be hosted in "Old City" Philadelphia! The couple got engaged on Market St. in the "Old City" and therefore their wedding will be held at 'TRUST' an old bank building located in the heart of the 'old city' district which has now be converted into an art gallery.

It was great working with this bride to create a feature for her wedding that is truly custom and unique. Now she not only has an out-of-the-ordinary wedding program, but her guests will be entertained while reading the paper and they will also be able to take it home as a memento of the couple's big day!
